RSS - Holy Smokes!

We’ll resume to regular programming after this, but I logged in this morning to see my RSS count half of what it was yesterday.

Looking around, the exact same thing has happend to the Shoe, the evil one, the undeground unbelievable truly-incredible SEO expert /AND/ multi-talented totally wicked design dude and the one and only ProBlogger… AND… well. Practically everyone else. What the heck is going on, Feedburner?

UPDATE: It’s Google Reader - all users of the app won’t count towards your stats. For today, at any rate…

UPDATE: Speaking to Darren Rowse of ProBlogger (who lost over 15,000 readers) via e-mail, he reckons it’s just a glitch. I’m inclined to agree.

UPDATE: Everyone else has caught wind as is blogging like hell, too.

UPDATE: Speculation suggests that e-mail subscribers might not be receiving their feeds too.

UPDATE: Google is eating itself inside out. Also, people not using Google Reader might have a wee bit of trouble reading any Google blog/news feeds. “Unintentional sabotage.” Muhahahaha!

I lost me readers too. And considering that my feed reader count isn’t too much it hurt me badly. My count is below 100 when the truth isnt that :(

Please subscribe to my feeds and trust me you will love the tips you get in my blog :)

I agree. It was very alarming to wake up to see such low numbers compared to what I’m use to.

When I saw my numbers I said to myself, “Crap, my readers have gone on strike!” heh
