Starbucker’s Meme - Two Tags Down
I’m often getting tagged in link-trains, memes, backlink builders and the like, but very rarely do I participate. When you get tagged twice in two days by two great bloggers, you know something’s going down. Chris Cree from SuccessCREEations and the wonderful Liz Strauss from Successful-Blog both seem hell-bent on getting me to participate, not to mention poor ol’ Wendy who also appears to have been tagged by the troublesome duo.
Here are the rules…
Here’s an opportunity to let your creativity flow. Tell us:
1. How full is your glass?
2. What kind of glass is it?
3. What’s in the glass?
4. Reasons for #1, #2, and #3
How full is your glass? Very full. A big dome of liquid is just waiting to tip over the edge, but when I look at it from sideways on, it appears to be rising above the lip of the glass already.
What kind of glass? Something shiny, preferably expensive. Crystal, perhaps? Otherwise, a plain ol’ plastic coloured cup will do.
What’s in the glass? Strawberry smoothie, lemonade, a hint of lime and a dollop of vanilla ice-cream. Et voila! Fizzy limonawberry ice-cream smoothie.
Reasons? I get more bang for buck, the fuller the glass (showing my cash conscience side). I’m served things looking at their best (presentation accounts for most life descisions, whether we realise it or not). The limonawberry ice-cream concoction? I like to try new things. Without diving in head first, being bizzare, and doing/saying something different, would we still think the world was flat?
‘Nuff said. Limonawberry it is. Nate, Jeremy, Gary and Josh. You’re up next.

Wow! That sounds great! Can I have one too?
June 4th, 2007 at 9:48 pm
And me
June 4th, 2007 at 10:05 pm
Me three? I should start one of these myself.

Just link back with your post and I’ll add you to my list.

Let me know how it tastes.

Ha! You sure can Liz… Next year when you’re in the UK, you’ll have to give me a call.
I gotta take some photos though - once I’ve tried the mix myself.

No it will be me. I am a regular visitor
June 5th, 2007 at 2:02 am
Mmmmm… Ice cream… You better patent that concoction because I think it is going to be a craze!
June 5th, 2007 at 7:45 am
Great idea! Kinda reminds me of the scene from the latest James Bond film, Casino Royale, in which Bond slightly strays away from his typical Martini.

Dang - I’m outta ice-cream. Might be a few days before I get some photos up.
On a more cheery note, I’ve decided I’ll be participating in more memes from now on - providing their sole aim isn’t to build traffic/backlinks/favourites. If there’s not real benefit for readers, what will people gain, especially considering visitors won’t be sticky ones?
If it’s fun and creative - I’m in. Keep up the great work you ‘half-fuller man’.

So David, What exactly is a meme?
P.S. I’m relaunching my blog for the second time soon

Very interesting discussion. For me, the glass is always half-full.

My glasses are always to big so I always end up using too much blackcurrent juice and haff none left for school so have to have Fruity Shots which fizz up despite the fact that they aren’t fizzy and attempt to decapitate people (Added to the fact that it just makes a mess and smells like strawberry) ;_;
June 6th, 2007 at 4:47 pm
Ha! You do have pretty darn big glasses. I remember now.
Any story behind it?
June 7th, 2007 at 10:28 pm
Behind the big glasses? Yeah, my grandma gave us them and she wears odd shoes by /accident/. So, yeah.
June 6th, 2007 at 6:27 am
Thanks for the tag… but I’d have absolutely _no_ idea what I’d post!
June 6th, 2007 at 4:48 pm
Anything and everything! If you want a simple cup of tea - then leave it at that.
June 6th, 2007 at 4:19 pm
That’s an optimistic way of things (i.e. the glass is half full)
