Looks great! Again, I'll have to try it. Is there an English version of the website, or just the software, though? ;)

For now - I'll have to use Google Translator. :P

There also
http://freepdfxp.de/fpxp.htm

This is another GhostScript based solution, which integrates as printer driver into windows. The app allows to save, email or even combine the output to the next created pdf. It's licences as freeware and available in English, too.

I had that problem quite alot on XP - can't say I've seen the same thing on Vista. Whether it's the way Vista handles the PDFs, or purely the difference in power of my new PC compared to my old one - I'm still not sure. So long as it works though, I'm happy. :)

I hate when Acrobat crashes Firefox when you are doing loads of stuff. Annoying.

I don't like Acrobat, because it's really bloated. However, after a fresh Install, you're tired, and just wanna click the Adobe button.

Also, if you have Office 2007, you can download a free add-in from Microsoft to save documents as PDF or XPS. It would have shipped with Office 2007 if Adobe didn't throw a fit.
