Google Facelift?
UPDATE: Ignore this post - seems like I’m very late on the scene.
Click on the above image for a larger view. Seems like Google has got itself a nice little facelift. Like I said, it’s little - but that doesn’t make it ‘uncool’. Who else notices that their ‘Google Personalized Homepage’ has been renamed ‘iGoogle’, or is it just me? Smite me if I’m wrong, but this is the first time I’ve noticed… Seems like more changes are going down at Google, too. Who else heard about the cross-language search engine stories? Seems like Google might be in for some trouble, though.

It was? My bad.
At least - this is the first time I’ve personally seen it in action. Sheesh… And I was using Google Reader when I noticed.

Don’t worry mate, I noticed some of these things last night. Thing is they update .com before .uk. And we are automatically directed to UK anyway.

Phew - so I wasn’t going crazy.

I guess you’ll be happy to see the new bar on the top which now includes almost all the services which one wants to use regularly
Atleast now they are making full use of the drop down menu

Yeah - it’s a much needed update. Though small - Google is actually looking ‘Web 2.0′ for the first time… EVER.

I Knew about IGoogle for some time but yesterday I first noticed the “Cleaner” Look to Google. I kinda like the minor change

You can also play youtube right in the search results. Search “Plasma Pong”, for example.

Noticed that last night during my search of videos of the Google workplace.

I’ve never thought about this but what does the ‘I’m feeling lucky’ button do?

Automatically takes you to whichever page places No. 1 for the result you typed in the search box.
