Barely Bearable or Cute Casing?

Barely Bearable or Cute Casing?

In recent months, dressing up your gadgets in style has become someone of a fad amongst geeks, and non-geeks alike. iPod underwear (for your iPod, not you) is now common place and new designs and cases are popping up everyday. Some are great, vibrant designs, whereas others are mangled meshes of a ‘could-be’ design that should never have made it through quality control. To be perfectly honest, I’ve stayed away from buying anything too… Weird? - Opting instead to go for a plain ol’ rubberized anti-shock casing that’s proven to withstand drops that others could not.

Bright lively colours are all the rage and when combined with cute ‘ickle’ animal faces, you’ve got yourself a pretty hip looking design. You’ll either love it or hate it. A bit like marmite, I guess… ;) Not only are the designs bright (and dare I say cheerful?), they manage to infuse the standard protection we’d expect to see from any old case, as well as bumping up the cuteness factor. Each skin has full screen & click-wheel protection, comes with a nice neck strap and comes with a headphone storage-wrap. All for $41. You might want to check these cute biscuits out. While we’re on the subject, you can also pick up some grossly over-priced earbud accessories for $4 a piece ($16 for a pack of four). Of course - if Hello Kitty is your thing, drop down dead and run off to your retailer now. :)

Me? I’m a massive fan of the skins. ‘Addictively cute’. Not so much of the earbuds. All the same, worth a mention and a half. Thanks Matt.
