Performancing - Meh New Job

Just a quick update really, to let you know that the dudes (and duettes) over at Performancing.com have hired me as one of their few new resident bloggers. I’ll be joining Ryan Caldwell (Have Laptop, Will Travel), Liz Strauss (SOB - Not literally. ;) ), Raj Dash (spiffy PHP dude ), Corsarius (World’s Most Experienced ProBlogger?) and Brian Gardner (Wordpress theme designer). It’s an honour to be writing for a Technorati Top 15 blog and it’ll be a bit of a change of scenery, at least for a while, but all the same, I’d appreciate it if you’d head on over and comment on my first ever post there, debating the pros and cons of theme sponsorship.

Take a look and lemme know what you think. I’d best be getting off to bed now though (11PM). My parents are yelling and my feet are getting cold. Toodles! :)

david, glad to be working with you on performancing! :) thanks for mention, but i believe there are hundreds of probloggers with more experience than i am, hehe. i also look up to many probloggers, and though i’m not as young as you are, i’m still young (or so I want to believe!), which means i have quite a long way to go.

cheers!

Hey Philip, nice to see you here! And, yes. You are young too. :P

The reason I said ‘experienced’, was because not all that many people end up working on 30+ websites in such a short space of time. ;)

ah, that; well, not all of those were blogs. :)

as an aside, i’m pretty sure before you hit twenty, you would have amassed a great deal of blogs under your own network ;)

anyways, see you on performancing! (i’ll be out the next week, though, as we’ve had a family tragedy and i need to fly to the province.)

Yeah - the network has a couple of additions planned very soon. :)

Sorry to hear about the family incident - my best wishes are with you and your family.

Those additions are…………??CodeZi and PopZi, eh?

And by the way, make sure you grab .net and .org extensions before some other chaps take them(like what happened to techzi.com), will you?

All the best for your job on Performancing, dude…….

Congrats David. It’s a bit of an honour (to say the least) to become a resident blogger for Performancing. Their posts are of a pretty high standard, but you’re off to a good start with your first.

Nice one!
