Microsoft - ‘Error: This Operation Has Completed Successfully’

Vista - Success Error

Having just received my first ever Vista ‘Error: This Operation Has Completed Succesfully’ message, I decided to Google it to see what came up. Seems like some guy from Prague is just as confused as I am. So much so, that he’s decided to create his whole own evil army of stickers, displaying the statement for the world to see. The fact is, public stickering and defacing of company’s advetising (aka. Microsoft’s WOW posters which are EVERYWHERE!) is against law. So this guy must be pretty miffed off with ol’ Bill and his team. I’m all for Vista, just frankly appauled at lack of driver support. ;) Read more at Engadget.

Anyhow, speaking of ’success’, the first Official TechZi podcast will be arriving in a few days time, with me having just interviewed THE Internet Copywriter - Mr. Michel Fortin! For those of you who don’t know, he’s the Internet’s very TOP copywriter and it’s a real honour to have him with me on the show!

Yeah, Windows Errors are always hilarious, I’ve seen some really funny ones in my day. I can’t wait to hear your podcast, I’m sure it will be a great listen.

Is it going to be strictly in interview format, or will you ever do a tech talk show? *wink wink, nudge nudge*

Tech Talk Show sounds great! ;)

I’ll see what I can do - but yeah… Sounds like you could be onto something! :D

I’m not the world’s most confident speaker, but I guess that doing a frequent podcast could really boost my confidence. I’ll definitely consider it!

Just recorded a 30-minute show with Joel on TechRave, using the all-glorious Skype. When’s your coming David?

I refuse to upgrade to any Micro$oft product for at least a year when it first comes out. As a Systems Engineer myself I don’t understand how such a large successful (with respect to money) software company cant get a flipping operating system straight after 4 major ITERATIONS… (depends on what you consider an iteration) UN-REAL.

I must admit, Vista is in desparate need of a service pack…

Now THAT is brilliant!

I can only assume the error was so serious that it left the program speechless and unable to express in words just how serious the error was!

LOL! :D
