Emergency update!

This is a very brief update, which I’ll try to make as short and to the point as possible.

If you’re a Nvidia GTS/GTX-8800 owner / Nvidia nForce Motherboard owner using Vista, DO NOT UPDATE THE LATEST 64-BIT DRIVERS!

Bad things happen… :( I’ll tell you more once I’ve got this sorted out. Let’s just say that ‘System Restore’, ‘Corrupted File’ and some scary errors come into the equation.

UPDATE: I’ve spent over 8 hours today trying to re-install critical software that was wiped by the corrupted file, courtesy of Nvidia… I’m going to bed.

Enjoy your 64 bit world :D

Frankly though, I’dve just gone with 32-bit systems rather than a 64-bit one, ‘coz the world’s just not yet ready for it, in terms of software and hardware drivers.

At present, I’d be more than happy with a 32-bit system. I can’t even get RealPlayer to work, for goodness sake! :(

True… But as I like to fool myself, I’ll be taking the whole ‘But look at me! I’m future-proof!’ side of the argument. ;)
